3 Scottish guys (in full accent) stalked by a bunny on the road (hilarious video)

Three Scottish guys driving down the road, and a rabbit, for some reason, refuses to leave the road in front of them.  Like the Energizer bunny, it just keeps running and running in front of their car. For five whole minutes.  Every time they stop the care, the rabbit stops. Then they start, and it runs in front of the car again.

The Scottish accent is worth the price of admission alone. I probably didn’t understand 80% of this video.

Oh I don’t know, it don’t want us to get by him.

Why’s he no want to go in the grass?

Cuz there’s beasties in there.

Okay, you sneak by him.

Oh my God, he’s back in the f’g road.

It’s f’g following us. F’g rabbit.

Oh there he goes, it’s getting his speed up again. I can’t even believe this.

Every time we stop, he stops.

“You sneak by him” :) Hilarious.

  5. Kayleigh Dyess says:

Their laughter is so infectious! I was wiping tears off my face watching this. I actually watched it twice and about to go on my third. Love the accents, it makes it that much better. “Oh my god, I can’t believe this!”

That is so cool. I just hope the guys didn’t get frustrated and run the rabbit over. Lets hope not.

  12. Mona Street says:

    Wasn’t one gaelic word

  13. lilyannerose says:

Now that was FUN! Thank you!

  14. Number Six says:

There was a car coming from the opposite direction. That’s what got the wee bunny.

  15. Number Six says:

You’d never believe they’d just left the pub, would you?

  16. HelenRainier says:

I was in tears and my stomach hurts from laughing — I couldn’t understand most of it buy could clearly make out “fucking rabbit” several times! This was too darned funny.

  17. rdiac says:

Somebody please tell me the rabbit survived. Even if that means lying. I really want to know.

  19. Jim Olson says:

There’s a lot of Scots gaelic in there, particularly the gent in the back seat. There’s always one in a crowd of Scots who is completely unintelligible, even to other Scots.

  20. BillFromDover says:

I believe it has something to do with rabbit stew?

  21. TampaZeke says:

    Kwafty wabbit!

  22. TampaZeke says:

I laughed so hard that I couldn’t breath. My grandparents were Scottish right off the boat so I could understand quite a bit of it but the rest may as well have been in Swedish.

  23. Cletus says:

I think it was, considering the final “Oh my God”…

  24. Cletus says:

I was ready to say “Scottish Rednecks” until they did stop and try and let it get away. Good on them.

  25. nowaRINO says:

sad, I don’t understand but one word my mother’s cousins are saying.

  26. Didn’t notice that. Hope not.

  27. Mike_in_the_Tundra says:

Actually I was thinking of a book from childhood, Bunnicula. Where else can you see a very confused cat try to hammer a t-bone steak into a rabbit’s chest.

Then there was “Wallace and Grommet and Were-rabbit.”

  28. ariesmatt says:

LOL! I hadn’t watched that in decades. It really holds up well with time. Thanks for posting!

  29. Now that’s a brilliant idea.

  30. Crafty rabbit.

  31. That’s in part why it is funny. They’re speaking English, yet we can barely understand them (to me that’s funny), but their enthusiasm and laughter has me howling, and is contagious :)

  32. Jack Robertson says:

cant see why this is on an american site i mean im scottish and im in tears so its not going to be as funny for people that cant understand our accent

  33. Danalan says:

Definitely a thump. I knew it wouldn’t end well.

  34. Skycat says:

    A Welsh rabbit no doubt!

  35. Max_1 says:

If the rabbit was following them…
… Why was it in front?

  36. emjayay says:

I was under the impression they ran over it while trying to pass. Until then it was laugh-outloud-at-your-computer funny.

  37. Cletus says:

“… there be beasties in there…”

Bet it would have been even funnier with subtitles.

  38. Peter Cottontail says:

Perhaps it was all highly technical jargon hypothesizing why the rabbit was acting that way.

  39. keirmeister says:

Too funny. But despite the terror that rabbit was causing, the guys went out of their way not to run it over. Bless them. :)

  40. TonyT says:

Was that a thump at the end of the video? The Fooking rabbit

  41. FUFatherEisenman says:

Look, that rabbit’s got a vicious streak a mile wide! It’s a killer!

  42. pappyvet says:

Aye tis a tragedy when a Man cant get the road from a bloody fargoing rabbit. Ah the shame of it all says I.

  43. Yes, the “f’g” I got, but I seriously couldn’t understand much beyond that

  44. Peter Cottontail says:

That was strange, and funny as well. I was able to understand more than 80% of what they were saying but only because 40%-50% of it was “f__ing rabbit”.
