Practical joker puts remote control devil baby on NYC sidewalk, hilarity ensues

This made me howl. Someone put a remote control on a baby carriage, and put a devil-looking baby, from some horror movie inside. Then the carriage rolls around the streets of NYC by itself, and when someone comes to help, the baby pops out and scares the heck out of them.

I know I should think this is wrong, but how can something wrong feel so right? I just can’t watch this without laughing every time. I’m going to hell.

I had to post some of my favorites – it just gets funnier and funnier as it goes on.

Yes, at one point, devil baby vomits a la the Exorcist.

CC 2.0 reboots are a little more abrasive on the whole. Just putting in my $.02. YMMV.

Love it, love it, love it I want a scare baby!

  6. Zorba says:

I thought that the woman who threw the blanket over the baby’s head showed a certain presence of mind.
What was most alarming to me, though, was how many people didn’t even look at or react at all to an unattended baby carriage rolling around the streets and sidewalks.

i think the reason i didn’t appreciate this as much as the snowman is people got their faces right down to look at the baby and one almost knocked over the baby carriage they had, because of the closeness to the baby the reaction was more dangerous imo, but dif strokes for dif folks as they say.

The guy in the raincoat who didn’t react kinda freaked me out.

I think Florida is what you are looking for. At least the baby was not text messaging. In Florida, that is grounds for shoot to kill, then claim the Stand Your Ground Defense. Don’t believe me? Just check yesterday’s news out of Florida, 71 years old man shoots man in movie theater, whose wife was texting. But the husband deserved shooting, because he threw popcorn at the old man. So gun justice was swift. The old man has been charged with second degree murder, but is declaring he will claim Stand Your Ground.

I thought it might be one of Santorum’s kids. Too mean?

  11. I just watched it again, and again I’m in tears. LOL

  12. Oh that guy in the Brooklyn hat was howling after he screamed.

  13. Or when the carriage was on its own in the middle of the road, I don’t think that was wise. Someone could have run in front of a car.

  14. It was NYC, not Texas :)

  15. keirmeister says:

OMFG, I’m in TEARS! I totally wish I came across this monstrosity. I would have been on the ground cracking up (after my heart started beating again). Too funny!

  16. KarenJ says:

At least no Satan-hunter type pulled out a gun and shot the devil baby…

  17. Stephen Moore says:

I’ll see you in Hell, John. :)

  18. RepubAnon says:

    How cute – a Rand Paul doll…

  19. Steven Leahy says:

    LMAO I cannot stop laughing

  20. Island In The Sky says:

I love these type of prank videos – but I always wonder about the risk the prankers put themselves in legally. Example: screaming baby causes person to freak out and slip on something, injuring themselves or bystanders. I know that you never see that, and the likelihood of anything like that is small, but still…

  21. kate60456 says:

Oh my. I don’t know the last time I laughed so hard! I shouldn’t have enjoyed it this much, but I couldn’t help myself.

  22. TonyT says:

Wow. I don’t see the humor. Seems mean.

  23. lilyannerose says:

That was as terrible as the elevator prank with the ghost child and just as funny!

  24. cole3244 says:

i guess its humorous if you aren’t the target otherwise not so much.

  25. Indigo says:

Maybe it’s the New Year’s baby and that’s what we’ve got to look forward to this year.

  26. BeccaM says:

Yeah… the elevator ghost-girl was too far, because a person doesn’t have the option to run away.

  27. LanceThruster says:

While the prank is creative and funny, I worry that people concerned about trying to do the right thing (check on an unattended baby carriage) will eventually become oblivious to what goes on around them assuming unusual circumstances are merely a goof.
I wince when I watch those punk’d type shows that see to what extent they can be obnoxious with the target trying to remain civilized. We will be conditioned to get overly defensive/dismissive in almost every situation.

  28. Richard Hayes says:

Sorry, I laughed my butt off and I don’t feel guilty at all. That was dang funny!

  29. FLL says:

There’s only one thing wrong with the Jones baby… It’s alive.

  30. I will admit that it pushes the limits. But I still find it less cruel than elevator ghost girl.

  31. Lantor says:

I really am shocked that authorities didn’t over-react to this. I guess there is still some humor left in the world.

  32. BeccaM says:

omg… I was just chuckling a little (guiltily), until it started doing the pea soup thing. Then I lost it.
