Little boy joins street performer in Edinburgh, adorableness ensues (video)

“Spandy Andy” was doing his street performance in (we think) Edinburgh, Scotland (a wonderful city, if you’ve never been), when a little boy wanted to get in on the fun, so Andy invited him in.

The result: adorableness.

I’m always amazed at how un-self-conscious kids can be.

That little boy was doing exacty what I and a lot of other adults in modern, um, social dancing. He’s using the beat through his leg muscles and the weight and inertia of his arms to move his whole body. I certainly didn’t get that when I was a tyke. Very very cool. I want to see this kid in ten and twenty years.

Now I know 2014 will be a good year — I saw Spandy Andy twerking and the little boy was simply adorable. These moments of spontaneous whimsy are terrific! John, how do you find this cool stuff?

A great demonstration of what having health insurance, in this case coverage through the UK Health Trust, provides to someone who might not make a ton of money but could lose a ton if they got hurt on the job.

Hmm, methinks the cameraman really liked Spandy Andy. Did you notice how the camera stayed focused on him most of the time, even when the little boy was dancing? But that’s understandable. Spandy looks pretty good.

Once the little guy got into the groove, he was there to stay. And his “aw shucks” at the applause at the very end. Yep, adorableness. Loads & Loads of it.
