Jimmy Fallon’s debut on the Tonight Show (video)

Jimmy Fallon took over the Tonight Show last night.

It was a parade of stars, including Lady Gaga, Stephen Colbert, Mariah Carey, Sarah Jessica Parker, and more.

Here’s a short-ish cute clip.

Jack Parr is still my favorite.

I identify watching the Tonight Show too much with my grandparents falling asleep in fifties recliners after cocktails and wine. I figure when I start watching that will commence the great slide into the dark beyond.

Whatevs, I maintain my position- it may the only thing that would cause me to wander from TDS/The Colbert Report/Chelsea Lately

Any condescension to Rivers is an act of extreme mercy.

I wish I thought he was funny and interesting. He just bores me to tears and I hate his face.

    Good riddance, Jay Leno.

I watched both nights, and I liked it. He’s a very talented man.

pretty cool intro but i prefer letterman when i do watch late night shows.

Fallon un-banned Joan Rivers from the Tonight Show. Johnny got all pissy and childish after Rivers got higher rating than he did back in the 90s (for guest hosting and her own Fox show).

Fallon showed class and respect by doing this.

I never watched either, but I did watch last night just to see what it was like. It was okay. I may watch tonight to see Lady Gaga, but I don’t really care for the late night show format.

    I never started.

I’ve stopped watching The Tonight Show right after Johnny left.
